Linda Xu

It is one of my greatest pleasures in life to work in a profession that I have a talent for and thoroughly enjoy. I take tremendous pride and satisfaction in knowing that I am providing a valued personal service, and that I’m helping my clients build a secure future. I work tirelessly on behalf of my clients, many of which have become close personal friends.

In this business I believe that relationships and integrity are critical assets. I do not invest heavily in marketing myself but rather spend considerable time and energy in understanding my client’s goals and in staying current on market conditions and opportunities. This is an approach that has worked well for me: more than 70 percent of my clients are referrals from previous clients. My clients who are selling their homes appreciate that my Palo Alto market listings sell in an average of 10 days. My clients who are buyers know that my strong professional relationships with other realtors ensure that I can get them the best deal possible.

I specialize in residential properties in Palo Alto, Los Altos, Menlo Park and Cupertino. I also have firsthand investment property experience in the San Francisco bay area, and can help clients in finding, buying and selling “hidden gems” whether their objective is rental income, long-term appreciation, development or resale.

I was born and raised in Sichuan, China, graduated from Sichuan University, and worked in Beijing for three years at the Xinhua News Agency. In 1989 I moved to Tokyo, Japan to study economics, and a year later immigrated to the United States. Continuing my education, I earned a Masters of Computer Science from Boston University and worked in the consulting and computer software industry before discovering my true passion for real estate.

I have lived in Palo Alto, California for more than 10 years where my son currently attends middle school. My Chinese heritage and bilingual ability give my clients a definite edge in today's multi-cultural market. I have considerable name recognition in the Asian community in Palo Alto. I am an active member of the Palo Alto Woman’s Club.
